Cmi employees are actively involved in supporting this public welfare activity in underserved rural areas.
In recent years, Cmi Group has consistently upheld the principle of “giving back to society what we take from it,” focusing on supporting elementary schools in underserved rural areas with the hope of nurturing future leaders.
On the morning of December 17, 2022, Cmi employees, full of energy, gathered at the company and then traveled together to Qianqiu Elementary School in Nantou City to participate in their school anniversary celebration. Despite the extremely cold temperatures across Taiwan that day, the children warmly welcomed everyone with their enthusiastic smiles.
Perhaps due to the benevolence of the weather, which was initially biting cold, the sun began to shine as a result of the children’s warmth. The employees were later invited to join in a relay race. Although the Cmi team eventually lost to the children, the spirit of sportsmanship was preserved as they completed the competition with strong team cohesion and cooperation.
Qianqiu Elementary School is a key baseball training school in Nantou County. Since the team’s uniforms, which are passed down from senior to junior players, had become old and insufficiently warm, the company helped by producing a batch of new uniforms for their use earlier this year. Continuing this act of care, General Manager Du Shumin and Vice President Guo Mingfeng, representing Cmi Group, donated NT$200,000 to support the school’s youth baseball program. This donation aims to help every child grow up happily through their learning experiences and to extend this love further. In this year’s year-end charitable activities, Cmi Group remains committed to fulfilling its social responsibilities by supporting this public welfare activity in rural areas. We look forward to the next opportunity to use Cmi’s modest resources to assist more children in underserved regions.
